On 19th July NUSHIP Sydney Staff were up nice and early in Adelaide to assist with the undocking of the ship following completion of its Aviation Upgrade. Bill Furey is the designer of the RAN 100 Year Badge and recently visited Pearl Harbour.  He purchased a number of of the RAN 100 year badges, before leaving and presented them to various USA Veterans, as a gift from the Association. Marty Grogan visited Life Member Ken Brown recently to give to him his new set of medals which include the Arctic Star which was presented to him by CN Vice Admiral Barrett at Divisions at HMAS Cerberus.	Our Patron CDRE Jim Dickson,  inspects the magnificent new model of the HMAS Sydney III as it was in Korea, complete with Seafury and Fire Fly aircraft.  It took world renowned scratch model maker Max Montague 14 months to complete.  Max is regarded as one of the top 10 scratch model makers in the world.	The Mcleod-Dryden family at the Shrine of Remembrance, after having presented, a cheque for $2,200.00 to the CEO of the Shrine of Remembrance, Dean Lee in Memory of Fred Mcleod-Dryden. Also present was our President Dr. John Carroll. The donation will be used for the Shrine of Remembrance Childrens Education Program.
