Anzac Day Routine

Anzac Day
Thursday 25 April 2019

MELBOURNE MARCH

Fall in on the East Side Service Lane St Kilda Rd, bordered by the Queen Victoria Gardens, opposite the Arts Centre, which is on the West side.

The RSL plan to have a static Military Vehicle display outside of the Arts centre on the day (to be confirmed).

In ANZAC House at the last ADCC meeting, we all agreed, numbers may be down this year, due to the close proximity of EASTER.

I ask all marchers to be present three quarters of an hour before the march (0745).

I will start falling the troops in at 0745, as it will take a good 35 minutes to sort them out .

Step off is at 0830 for the March, we will be ready to step off about 0836-7, falling in behind the Navy formed body from CERBERUS as they march past.

I will approach march the troops, to the step off point, at approximately 0825, ready for the Navy formed body to pass.

Then off we go.

Vehicles containing those unable to march will fall in behind their Association banner.

I have asked for the vehicles, to form the Taxi rank, on St Kilda Rd East side curb, as there is not enough room in the service Rd for vehicles and Marchers.

I will be on site at 0540 to set up and take delivery of Banners delivered from ANZAC House and then assemble them.

Please contact me should you have any other queries.

Do not contact me on my Mobile has gone Absent Without Leave (I have lost it).
